Tay Ninh Police establishes district-level Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue Squads

PSNews – The Tay Ninh Provincial Police Department on December 4 held a ceremony to establish the Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue Squads in its districts and city. 

According to Senior Colonel Ly Hong Sinh, Deputy Director of Tay Ninh Police, the Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue Squads at the district level is in charge of fire prevention and firefighting and rescue within the districts or cities of Tay Ninh province. 

They have to assign forces to be on 24/24h duty, receive and handle information about fire, explosion and rescue.

They are also tasked to promote fire safety dissemination for local agencies, units, businesses and people, and organize professional training on fire prevention and fighting in the designated locality.

Senior Colonel Ly Hong Sinh affirmed that, the establishment of the Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue Squads holds important meaning as it meets the fire prevention and fighting and rescue requirements, contributing to minimizing losses caused by fire and explosion, and ensuring local security and order the locality.
