Tien Giang police discuss the implementation of security camera model

PSNews – The Tien Giang Provincial Police Department on March 25 held a seminar on prevention and fight against property theft.

Speeches at the seminar showed that, in recent years, various anti-crime models, particularly that against property theft, have been implemented effectively in localities.

Especially, the security camera model has brought positive results in crime prevention as well as helped crime investigation.

Thanks to the security camera model, during the recent anti-crime campaign, the Tien Giang police forces have discovered and successfully investigated 80 social order violation cases, including a number of property theft and robbery cases, recovered people’s assets worth 655 million VND.

At the seminar, participants discussed the effectiveness and efficiency of the camera security model, as well as the advantages and limitations in the implementation of the model, and the practical experience regarding the operation of the security camera system.
