Tra Vinh police officers participate in armed marathon

PSNew – The Tra Vinh Provincial Police Department held the second Armed Marathon 2020 on July 20. 

The second Armed Marathon hosted by the Tra Vinh police drew the participation of 110 officers from local police units.

The marathon was divided into 2 categories: 3,000 meter armed marathon run for men with the participation of 86 policemen, and 2,000 meter marathon run for women with the participation of 25 policewomen.

After the one-day competition, the organizers finally selected 10 teams and 14 individuals with the best running records.

At the awarding ceremony, the first prize and second prize in the 2,000 meter marathon run for women were respectively awarded to policewomen from the Police Office of Criminal Verdict Execution and Judicial Assistance and the Tra Cu District Police Station.

The first prize and second prize in the 3,000 meter armed marathon run for men respectively came to policemen from the Mobile Police Office and the Police Office of Criminal Verdict Execution and Judicial Assistance.
