Traffic Police strive to ensure traffic safety despite intensive heat

PSNews - In the scorching sun, police officers of the Hanoi Municipal Traffic Police Division were still doing their duties at important intersections to ensure traffic safety and order.

The 15th NA’s fifth session is taking place in two phases with a total duration of 22 days, with the first from May 22 to June 10, and the second from June 19 to 23. In order to ensure absolute security for the session, the Hanoi Municipal Police Department has deployed its force in collaboration with other funtional units to ensure security and safety on central routes.

The temperature in Hanoi these days has exceeded 40 °C.  The actual outdoor temperature even exceeds 42°C. Despite the harsh weather, Hanoi traffic police officers still work under the sun, guiding traffic flows at key traffic intersections.

According to Captain Nguyen Thi Thanh Tam, she and her colleagues have to work in the harsh weather every day, but they still strive to fulfill their missions.

 “The working times are normal to male police officers but hard to female police officers, so we receive much sympathy from people passing by,” she said.
