Training course on staff-work opened for public security officers

PSNews – The Office of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) on October 7 in collaboration with the People’s Public Security Political Academy opened a training course in Hanoi on public security staff-work. Lieutenant General Luong Tam Quang, Deputy Minister of Public Security attended the event.

The training course aimed at improving professional abilities of public security officers working in staff agencies. This is the 5th course opened by the People’s Public Security Political Academy.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, on behalf of the Central Party Committee of Public Security and leaders of the MPS, Deputy Minister Luong Tam Quang praised the MPS’s Office for their active coordination with the People’s Public Security Political Academy to launch the course.

The Deputy Minister also requested that, during the course, the lecturers should provide participants with knowledge of the Public Security Forces’ tasks of ensuring national security, public order and safety in the new situation, and clearly define the important position of staff-work under the new organizational structure of the MPS.

At the opening ceremony, Major General Tran Vi Dan, Director of the People’s Public Security Political Academy also suggested the MPS leadership should ask public security departments and units to collaborate closely with the academy to open more training courses for public security officers of various kinds and levels, in order to improve the quality of human resources of the Public Security Forces in general and the staff sector in particular.
