Typical writers, artists and intellectuals of Hanoi honored

The Hanoi Municipal Police held a meeting on October 10 morning to honor typical writers, artists and intellectuals of Hanoi under the chair of Major General Doan DuyKhuong, Director of Hanoi Municipal Police.

At the meeting on the occasion of the 63rd anniversary of Hanoi's Liberation Day (October 10, 1954 - 2017), a representative of the Hanoi Municipal Police briefed the guests on the unit's outcomes in the first 9 months of 2017. Despite many difficulties, the police force of Hanoi has achieved many positive results.

The local police force has strictly followed all directions of the Ministry of Public Security and the city’s authorities, cooperated closely with armed forces and relevant agencies in Hanoi in all fields, contributing to socio-economic development and foreign relations of the capital.

On behalf of the Hanoi Municipal Police, Major General Khuong sincerely thanked writers, artists and intellectuals who have always stayed side by side and encouraged the police force of Hanoi in protecting a peaceful life for people.

"In their literary and artistic works, writers, artists and intellectuals reflected activities of our force in a true, vivid and multi-dimensional manner," he emphasized.

Khuong also hoped that, with their enthusiasm, deep knowledge, responsibility and experience, the capital city’s contingent of writers, artists and intellectuals would continuously support Hanoi police to successfully complete their political and social tasks.

People's Artist Vuong Duy Bien, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism highly appreciated and thanked the Hanoi Municipal Police for the warm and friendly meeting.

On behalf of the literary, artistic and intellectual force of the capital, Bien wished the local police force great unity and strength to better serve the Party and people, and contribute to building a civilized, developed and beautiful Hanoi.
