* Earlier, on the same day, as part of the implementation of the Joint Statement between Vietnam and India and the Memorandum of Understanding between the Vietnamese MPS and the Office of the National Security Council of India, the First Deputy Ministerial-Level Security Dialogue between the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security (MPS) and the Office of the National Security Council of India was organized. This also helped step up the implementation of the comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and India.

at this meeting, security leaders of the two sides agreed to hold such a dialogue in every two years to share information and issues on regional and global security and order as well as other issues of mutual concerns; and exchange measures to respond to non-traditional security challenges, especially the prevention and fight against terrorism, transnational crime, and hi-tech crime.
