Women contribute significantly to success of Public Security Forces

PSNews - The Women's Union organizations at all levels are activelyorganizing practical activities to welcome the 8th Public Security Women's Congress of term 2016-2021.

Senior Colonel Ngo Hoai Thu, Chairwoman of the Women's Union Organization of Public Securitysaid,under the leadership of the Party andguidance of units’ leaders, after 5 years implementing the Resolution of the 7th Congress, female workersat Ministry of Public Security have reachedthe settargets and havemade much progress.

Over the past years, women with the Ministry of Public Security have grown in both quantity and quality. While female workers continuously improve their professional skills and are active and enthusiastic at work and in social activities, women's organizations at all levels are strengthened andleaders of women’s organizationsbecomemore exemplary and responsible.

However, the work and movement of the Women's Union organization of Public Security have also facedmany difficulties due to large differences in numbers of members of women’s organizations  at the same level,long distances between/among units andquality gaps among members of women’s organizations. .

In combat units, members have to work in hazardous environments, with high intensity, far from their families, or with dangerous criminals. Althoughtasksassigned to the public security forces, including women, in the new period become heavier,  public security women continuously try their best to improve their professional skills, expertise andforeign languages with the aim ofbettermeeting theirassignments.

In the past 5 years, women working at theMinistry of Public Security has effectively implemented the movement "Women in public security forces  learning and following the moral of Ho Chi Minh; disciplined, creative for Fatherland security; building a happy family". More than 76,000 female officials won the title of "Excellent Women" during the past 5 years.

In addition, women's organizationsat all levels have promoted information dissemination and education, encouraged women to implement the laws and policies; improvedvirtues and knowledge for public security women.

Many Woman Union organizations have paid due attention to educating and training their members; introduced goodmembers to Party organizations for admission to the Party. Over the past5 years, female Party members have continuously developed in both quantity and quality.

Women's Union organizations at all levels actively organized practical activities to support women in building a happy family, to protect environment echoing the campaign to build a family of "5 Nos, 3 Cleans ", and project " To support5 millions mothers inwell rearing their children".

Social and charity activitieswere also carried out in various forms ata total costof 13 billion VND. Especially, the Public Security Women’s Union organization in association with the Defense Women’s Union organization and other social organizationsheld a number of joint activities for the Fatherland’s islands and seas as well as actively implemented policy work for military and police people’s families.

The above practical activities of Public Security women’s organizations have contributed to promoting the national traditions of mutual affection and mutual loveamong members, and buildingahappy, sustainable familyfor members of the Public SecurityWomen's Union organization.
