Youths of Hanoi Municipal Police join blood donation festival

PSNews - The Youth Union chapter of the Hanoi Municipal Police Department in January held a ceremony to launch the 15th Red Sunday Program in 2023.

Present at the program were representatives from the Hanoi Municipal Police Department, the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion, and some other local hospitals.

At the launching ceremony, the Youth Union chapter of the Hanoi Municipal Police Department and six hospitals, namely the Institute of Hematology and Transfusion, Viet Duc Friendship Hospital, 108 Central Military Hospital, National Children's Hospital, Bach Mai Hospital, Hanoi Medical University Hospital signed a Memorandum of Understanding on joint operation of the Voluntary Blood Donation Rapid Response Club of the Youth Union chapter of the Hanoi Municipal Police Department.

In 2022, the Youth Union chapter of the Hanoi Municipal Police Department advised the Party Committee and  Directorate of the Hanoi Municipal Police Department to organize the Blood Drops of Love Journey with 13 blood donation drives at 12 local police units and hospitals, mobilized 3,239 club members to register to participate in voluntary blood donation and collected 2,843 safe blood units.

Immediately after the signing ceremony, hundreds of members of the Youth Union chapter of the Hanoi Municipal Police Department participated in blood donation. 

The Voluntary Blood Donation Day launched by the Youth Union chapter of the Hanoi Municipal Police Department demonstrates the strength of young police officers in Hanoi, and it is also a chance for young police officers to exchange with local people, cementing the relationship between the local police and people.
