Youths of Quang Nam Police runs voluntary activities in mountainous areas

PSNews - The Youth Union chapter of the Quang Nam Provincial Police on December 15 held the “Winter volunteer” program in Ba commune, Dong Giang district with many meaningful activities.

The voluntary program was in celebration of the 11th National Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCYU) of the term 2017-2022. It also aimed to heighten sense of vanguard and voluntary spirit of members of the Quang Nam Police’s Youth Union in social activities.

Within the framework of the program, the mission presented 100 Health Insurance cards (worth of 500,000 VND each) to students of Ba commune’ primary school and 200 packs of gifts (worth of 300,000 VND each) to needy local people.

The voluntary mission also held meetings to popularize drug prevention to students of the Kim Dong Secondary School and presented 5 bicycles to poor students of the school.

Besides, the mission also issued ID cards to local people and in coordination with the Youth Union chapter of Hospital 199 offered free health check-ups and medicines to 200 people residing in Ba commune.
