Department of Legislation and Administrative, Judicial Reform deploys working plan

PSNews – The Department of Legislation and Administrative, Judicial Reforms under the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) organized a conference on January 26 to review its performance in 2017 and deploy a working plan for 2018.

Senior Lieutenant General Le Quy Vuong, Deputy Minister of Public Security attended the event.

In 2017, the department took various measures to fulfill all given tasks and achieved many good outcomes. Particularly, the department advised the Central Party Committee of Public Security to issue Resolution No. 08-NQ / ĐUCA on January 8, 2017, on further improving the laws on security and order by 2020, with a vision towards 2030.

The department well performed its role of a Standing Office of the Steering Committees of the MPS on judicial reforms, implementation of diplomatic regulations, and law dissemination and education. The unit suggested the ministry to review and cut down many administrative procedures troubling organizations and individuals, contributing to creating a favorable environment for socio-economic development. These good results also made important contributions to ensuring national security, social order and safety, and struggling against crimes, and legal offences of public security officers.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister Le Quy Vuong praised the achievements attained by the department in 2017, and emphasized some tasks that the unit should do in 2018.

For its achievements in 2017, the department was awarded with the “Emulation” Flag by the Government while various groups and individuals under the department were praised by the MPS and other ministries and agencies.
