On April 14 in Hanoi, Lieutenant General Dang Hong Duc, Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security, chaired a working session with Nam Trieu One Member Limited Liability Company under the Ministry of Public Security.

The meeting reviewed the company’s overall performance, production and business activities, and its development orientations for the coming period.

Attendees also included leaders of functional units under the Ministry of Public Security, along with the Board of Directors and heads of departments and affiliated production and business units of Nam Trieu Company.

In recent years, under the close and regular direction of the Ministry’s leadership, Nam Trieu Company has fulfilled its assigned tasks in manufacturing, assembling, converting, and repairing specialized watercraft and vehicles, as well as producing mechanical equipment and other business lines approved by the Minister of Public Security and its business registration.

The company’s key products include specialized mobile vehicles and technical equipment serving police units, such as troop carriers, prisoner transport vehicles, water cannon trucks, patrol vehicles, and vehicles for transporting weapons and support tools. It also produces patrol boats, high-speed vessels, specialized motorcycles, and license plates.

In addition, it manufactures various security-support equipment like storage racks, weapon cabinets, and guard posts, as well as dual-use products including fire trucks, lifting vehicles, and rescue boats.

Concluding the meeting, Deputy Minister Dang Hong Duc urged the company to promptly change its mindset, promote innovation, and mobilize all resources with strong determination to achieve breakthrough development in the near future.

He also requested the company to define clear and specific business strategies, focusing on its core strengths, particularly in the automotive industry, and in the repair and maintenance of specialized vehicles and watercraft, as well as shipbuilding. The company should review and propose practical expansion plans for dual-use production and business activities, avoiding overlaps with other units within the Ministry while ensuring product quality.

The Deputy Minister further emphasized the need for the company to strengthen cooperation with external enterprises in compliance with regulations, learn from advanced corporate governance models, and streamline its organizational structure. He also stressed the importance of effective personnel arrangement and ensuring proper welfare policies for employees.
