Over 80 years of construction, combat, and growth, the People's Security Force in general, and the Internal Political Security Force in particular, have painstakingly built, fought, and matured into an increasingly powerful force, excellently fulfilling all duties entrusted by the Party, State, and People, and directly by the Public Security Central Party Committee and the Ministry of Public Security.

In recognition of the outstanding achievements and victories of the Department of Internal Political Security, the Party and State have conferred upon it the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces alongside many other noble awards.

Speaking at the gathering on behalf of the Central Public Security Party Committee and the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security, Deputy Minister Pham The Tung warmly commended and congratulated the immense contributions of the Internal Political Security Force in general, and the Department of Internal Political Security in particular, to the cause of safeguarding national security, as well as building and defending the Fatherland.

To successfully fulfill the mission of safeguarding the Party, State, and People in the new era, the Deputy Minister requested the leadership, officers and soldiers of the Department of Internal Political Security to focus on several core tasks.

Under all circumstances, the Internal Political Security Force should remain the most loyal force to the Party, Fatherland, and People, firmly upholding the principle of ensuring the absolute, direct, and comprehensive leadership in all aspects by the Party, directly via the Central Public Security Party Committee and the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security, over internal political security work.

The force should enhance its contributions, promote social consensus, and consolidate public trust in the guidelines, policies, and laws of the Party and State, thereby contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress and other strategic resolutions of the Party. It is vital to build an Internal Political Security Force as a revolutionary, regular, elite, and modern force, standing as "The Most Disciplined, Most Loyal, and Closest to the People," to meet the requirements and duties of the new situation.
