Minister Luong Tam Quang pays tribute to heroic martyrs and people with meritorious services in Gia Lai

On the occasion of the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day, General Luong Tam Quang, Member of the Politburo, Secretary of the Central Public Security Party Committee, and Minister of Public Security, along with a working delegation, offered flowers and incense in tribute to heroic martyrs, visited and presented gifts to wounded and sick soldiers, policy families, and outstanding people with meritorious services in Gia Lai province, on July 19.

The Minister was joined by provincial authorities and leaders of the Gia Lai Provincial Police.

As part of this series of meaningful activities, Minister Luong Tam Quang and the working delegation visited the Quy Nhon Martyrs' Cemetery.

Subsequently, Minister Luong Tam Quang and the delegation visited, presented gifts, and encouraged wounded and sick soldiers undergoing treatment and convalescence at the Gia Lai Province Nursing Center for People with Meritorious Services.

At the meeting, Minister Luong Tam Quang expressed his boundless gratitude for the great sacrifices and contributions of generations of revolutionary contributors. Over the years, the Party and the State have always paid special attention to and issued many preferential regimes and policies to ensure that people with meritorious services and their relatives receive comprehensive care, both physically and mentally.

The Minister expressed his admiration and pride for the resilient will and determination of the wounded and sick soldiers in overcoming their injuries. He also deeply shared his sympathy for the physical pain they must endure due to war wounds.

On this occasion, Minister Luong Tam Quang directly visited and encouraged outstanding policy families in Quy Nhon ward. At the home of Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Hien on Tay Son street, the Minister graciously inquired about her health and daily life. He wished her a happy, healthy, and long life, hoping she continues to be a solid spiritual pillar and a shining example for her descendants to follow.

Visiting Mr. Nguyen Van Thiet (residing in Quy Nhon Dong ward), a 100% wounded veteran, Minister Luong Tam Quang expressed his deep respect for the losses and sacrifices of Mr. Thiet's family for the cause of national construction and defense. At the same time, he expressed his hope that the family would continue to promote their fine traditions and actively contribute to the development of their homeland.

Next, Minister Luong Tam Quang acknowledged and highly appreciated Senior Colonel Che Truong, former Director of the Gia Lai Provincial Police, a wounded veteran who is taking care of a Vietnamese Heroic Mother, for his dedication to protecting national security, maintaining social order and safety, and building the Gia Lai Provincial Police force over the past time.
