Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son inspects implementation of vaccination campaign plan for Public Security Forces

PSNews – Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Minister of Public Security and Head of the Steering Committee for Disease Prevention and Control under the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) on August 5 worked with some public security units on the implementation of the COVID-19 vaccination plan for public security officers and soldiers.

According to the plan, the units under the MPS responsible for COVID-19 vaccination for the Public Security Forces are the Department of Health, the People’s Public Security Academy, the People’s Police Academy, Hospital 198 and Hospital of Traditional Medicine.

Speaking at the working session, on behalf of the MPS leadership, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son praised the Department of Health for proactively advising the MPS leadership to set up more vaccination centers.

He also praised the Hospital 198 and Hospital of Traditional Medicine for actively implementing the vaccination plan of the MPS, meeting the set requirements.

The Deputy Minister highly appreciated the Board of Directors of the two academies for promptly and effectively coordinating with the Department of Health and the two hospitals to implement the vaccination plan of the MPS in such a short time.

Given the complicated developments in the COVId-19 pandemic, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son asked these units to continue implementing the vaccination plan in accordance with the actual situation, so that 100% of the public security officers and soldiers can be vaccinated as soon as possible.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son affirmed that the Public Security Forces are one of the frontline forces in the fight against COVID-19. Therefore, all public security officers and soldiers should be fully vaccinated, helping them fulfill their political tasks of ensuring political security, social order and safety, contributing to achieving the “dual goals” set by the Party and the State.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son believed that all public security agencies and units with their proactiveness and creativity in implementing their vaccination plans will successfully complete the general vaccination program set out by the leadership of the MPS.
