MPS to launch book exhibition on "Public Security Forces following Uncle Ho's teachings"

PSNews - The Department of Party and Political Work under the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) on March 28 held a meeting to roll out the MPS's plans on organizing a book exhibition and reading movement themed "Public Security Forces following Uncle Ho's teachings."

Prior to that, the MPS on March 15 issued plan No. 69/KH-BCA-X03 on organizing a book exhibition and launching a reading movement themed "Public Security Forces following Uncle Ho's teachings" in response to the Vietnam Book Day (April 21), the World Book Day (April 23) and the 50th years implementing President Ho Chi Minh's testament (1969-2019.)

Speaking at the event, Senior Colonel Nguyen Van Toan, Deputy Director of the Department of Party and Political Work informed that the opening ceremony and launching of the reading movement will take place at 8 pm on April 16 at the headquarter of the MPS. Along with that, the book exhibition named "Public Security Forces following Uncle Ho's teachings" will take place at the same place in 2 days, April 16 and 17.

Within the framework of the book exhibition, at 9.30 am on April 16, there will be a seminar introducing the book "Ho Chi Minh's ideology on identifying and struggling against the degradation of political ideology, morality and lifestyle among Party members" written by General, Professor. Dr. To Lam, Politburo's member, Minister of Public Security; and the book "Ho Chi Minh's ideology on promoting the people’s power in building the movement "All people protecting National Security" written by Senior Lieutenant General, Associate Professor. Dr. Bui Van Nam, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security.

On same day, at 10.15 am, there will be a meeting between the Youth Union members of the MPS with Senior Lieutenant General, Associate Professor. Dr. Nguyen Van Thanh, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security, author of 2 famous books, namely "Thinking systems for everyone - Road from theory to practice in Vietnam" and "Building and developing smart city to ensure security, welfare and safety indicators in the context of the 4th Industrial Revolution."
