Warmly welcoming the delegation, Minister Luong Tam Quang affirmed that the exchange program for children of wounded soldiers, fallen heroes as well as officers and staff between the Ministry of Public Security of Viet Nam and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus has become a fine tradition maintained by the two sides for many years.
According to the Minister, the activity is not merely an opportunity for exchange, sightseeing and vacationing, but also carries profound humanitarian significance. It demonstrates deep appreciation and gratitude for the contributions and sacrifices made by generations of officers and staff of the two ministries in safeguarding security and order, for the peaceful and happy lives of the people.
On this occasion, Minister Luong Tam Quang expressed his sincere gratitude to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Belarus for his attention, support and warm reception of the delegation of children of wounded soldiers, fallen heroes as well as current officers and staff from the Ministry of Public Security of Viet Nam during their visit to Belarus from August 3 to 15.
Regarding the visiting Belarusian delegation, Minister Luong Tam Quang noted that he had directed functional units of the Ministry of Public Security to ensure a thoughtful and warm reception, making the children feel at home.
These exchange visits provide a valuable opportunity for the younger generation, especially children of officers and soldiers from the two ministries, to meet and learn about each country's land, people and culture. Through this, they will serve as bridges contributing to sustaining and nurturing the friendship, mutual understanding, trust and fine cooperative relations between the Ministry of Public Security of Viet Nam and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus.
According to the agenda, during their stay in Viet Nam, the delegation visits and explores several localities, historic sites, and scenic spots in Ha Noi, Quang Ninh, Ninh Binh and Da Nang.
Minister Luong Tam Quang expressed his hope that the trip would offer the children enjoyable experiences, enabling them to admire the country's natural beauty, learn about Vietnamese history, culture and daily life, while experiencing firsthand the warmth, hospitality and sincere affection of the Vietnamese people toward their Belarusian friends.
He also expressed his desire that, following this visit, the delegation members would have opportunities to return to Viet Nam to explore other unique cultural heritage sites, reconnect with Vietnamese friends, and together foster close ties between the youth of both nations.
During a cordial conversation with the children, Minister Luong Tam Quang expressed confidence that their time in Viet Nam would leave them with lasting memories, joy, and fine impressions. He wished them good health and success in their studies and training, encouraging them to carry forward their family traditions, become good citizens contributing to the development of Belarus, and remain true friends of Viet Nam.
