Youths of General Department of Politics run gratitude activities in Ca Mau

PSNews - The Southern Youth Union organization of the General Department of Politics under thr Ministry of Public Security from March 16 to 18 in collaboration with the Youth Union chapter of The Ministry of Public Security’s Office held a roots-returning tour for their members to Ca Mau.

Senior Lieutenant Nguyen Ngoc Phu, Secretary of the Southern Youth Union chapter of the General Department of Politics said that this was a political education drive to celebrate the 70th anniversary of Uncle Ho's sending the 6 teachings to the Public Security Forces (March 11, 1948-2018) and 87th founding anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931-2018).

The drive aimed to promote the vanguard and voluntary spirit among youths of the public security forces; and  at the same time, to improve their professional skills and study results. Besides, it also provided Youth Union's member with opportunity to join the local community, contributing to enhancing the image of public security officers and cementing solidarity between the 2 public security units for better fulfillment of their assigned missions.

On this occasion, the Southern Youth Union organization of the General Department of Politics under Ministry of Public Security and the Youth Union chapter of the Ministry of Public Security’s Office also visited the historical - cultural site of Hon Da Bac (Silver Stone Island) in Tran Van Thoi district, Ca Mau province. 

At the site, the delegations paid tribute to late President Ho Chi Minh and learnt about the process to resolve well-known special case CM12. The public security youth delegation together with Ca Mau provincial police also visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and beneficiary households with difficulties in the locality.
