The Ministry of Public Security (MPS) held a meeting to review the implementation of investment projects and the process of fund disbursement for 2026.

The Ministry of Public Security (MPS) held a meeting to review the implementation of investment projects and the process of fund disbursement for 2026, on February 24 in Hanoi. Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security Lieutenant General Dang Hong Duc chaired the meeting.

Since the beginning of 2026, the MPS leadership has paid close attention to the implementation of investment capital plans and procurement funding plans via various directives guiding relevant units and agencies to execute specific tasks.

Addressing the meeting, Deputy Minister Dang Hong Duc requested public security units and agencies to take stronger and timely measures and find effective solutions to accelerate implementation of investment projects and the disbursement of allocated investment capital and funds in 2026 in accordance with the set objectives and requirements.

In addition, public security units were urged to promptly complete dossiers and procedures to expedite the appraisal, approval and allocation of investment capital in compliance with the legal regulations.

The Deputy Minister also stressed the need to strengthen coordination between project investors and relevant functional units under the Ministry, while paying close attention to the contractor selection so as to select the ones with proven capacity and experience, thereby ensuring the timeline of the project implementation and improving the quality of projects.

He emphasized that heads of the involved public security units and agencies should regard the project implementation and fund disbursement as a top political task, so they should directly oversee and direct their subordinates to implement their investment and procurement projects as scheduled in an effective manner and with high quality.
