These included organizing online conferences connecting between the department’s headquarters and police units at international airport border gates; requiring officers and Party members to study and internalize resolutions via social media platforms and official communication channels; and disseminating documents electronically, among other methods.
The Party Committee and its Standing Commission of the Immigration Department have proactively advised the Standing Commission of the Public Security CPV Committee and the Ministry of Public Security leadership on numerous important policies, solutions and legal documents regarding immigration management. These efforts have contributed to improving the legal framework for national security and social order in the new context, while facilitating socio-economic development and international integration. The department has shown strong leadership in implementing Project No. 06 and Level 4 online public services for passport issuance, e-visas, and the Autogate system, which have been highly appreciated by the public and have enhanced the effectiveness and quality of immigration management.
The Party Committee and its Standing Commission of the Immigration Department have also provided strong leadership in political and ideological education for officers and soldiers, building a truly clean and strong Party organization in terms of politics, ideology and ethics. He called for urgent revision of working regulations, greater accountability and exemplary conduct from leaders at all levels — from the department leadership to division heads and border gate police chiefs — and clear assignments, clear responsibility, clear timelines, and regular checks on task completion. He also stressed the importance of effective personnel management.
On behalf of the Party Committee and leadership of the Immigration Department, Major General Cao Minh Huyen expressed sincere gratitude to the Deputy Minister and Inspection and Supervision Team No. 5 for paying attention as well as spending time and energy in reviewing documents and working with the Party Committee and relevant organizations and individuals.
