"Study in Europe" to kick off on September 21

PSNews - On 21, 22 and 23 September, the Delegation of the European Union to Vietnam and its Member States welcome students in Da Nang, Hanoi, and Ho Chi Minh City to "Study in Europe" Education Fairs.

Vietnamese students and their families will have the opportunity to learn about excellent education systems, the culture, traditions and attractions of European countries.

Out of a total number of 70.000 Vietnamese students currently following courses abroad, Europe is one of the biggest net receivers of Vietnamese students with more than 15.000 – studying in Europe. 

In 2018, 33 students have received full scholarship from the Erasmus+ Programme to study Master courses in Europe, which is a remarkable increase from a total 25 scholarship holders in 2017. 

In addition, hundreds of other students are attending exchange courses (3-12 months) or pursuing PhD studies under the International Credit Mobility or via the ongoing 51 cooperation projects between European and Vietnamese Higher Education institutions.

The series of events will start in Da Nang on Friday 21 September at Nalod Hotel (192 Vo Nguyen Giap Street), followed by Ho Chi Minh City on Saturday 22 September at Grand Palace Convention Centre (142/18 Cong Hoa street, Ward 4, Tan Binh District). The last event of the series will take place on Sunday 23 September in Hanoi at the Army Hotel (1A Nguyen Tri Phuong, Ba Dinh District).

At the "Study in Europe" Education Fairs 2018, participants will attend a 2-hour conference session where they are given valuable information and listen to real-life, actual experience from alumni speakers. These alumni are representatives of outstanding Vietnamese students who have been or are still studying in EU countries.

Throughout the events,  from 9h00 – 14h00 at the "Info Exhibition" area, public visitors can find  detailed information and consult with more alumni and country representatives at the information booths for the following European countries: Belgium (Wallonia-Brussels), Bulgaria, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom. Participants can also enjoy fun quizzes, interactive games, and bring home some gifts about Europe.
