A delegation of the Executive Committee of the Public Security CPV Organisation and the Ministry of Public Security (MPS), led by Member of the CPV Central Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Dang Hong Duc, visited the Chinese Embassy in Viet Nam on August 18 to pay respect to late Chinese Premier Zhu Rongji and sign the condolence book following his passing.
At the ceremony, Deputy Minister Dang Hong Duc conveyed the deepest condolences of Member of the Politburo and Minister of Public Security General Luong Tam Quang, the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security and the entire People’s Public Security Forces of Viet Nam to the Party, State and people of China as well as the bereaved family of Comrade Zhu Rongji.
Writing in the condolence book in tribute to former Chinese Premier Zhu Rongji, Deputy Minister Dang Hong Duc noted:
"The Executive Committee of the Public Security CPV Organisation and the Ministry of Public Security of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam pay respectful tribute to Comrade Zhu Rongji, former Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China. Comrade Zhu Rongji was an outstanding leader who made many important contributions to China’s cause of reform, opening up and international economic integration. The Executive Committee of the Public Security CPV Organisation and the Ministry of Public Security of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam extend the deepest condolences to the Party, State and people of China."
Within the framework of the memorial ceremony, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam He Wei, on behalf of the Party, State and people of China, expressed sincere thanks to the Party, State, Executive Committee of the Public Security CPV Organisation and Ministry of Public Security of Viet Nam.
