The ceremony was attended by Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security Senior Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung; Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee, Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee and Chairman of the Hanoi Military Service Council Tran Sy Thanh; among representatives from the Hanoi Capital Command, the Hanoi City Police Department as well as leaders and a large number of residents in Dong Da district.

In 2025, Dong Da district successfully selected 103 qualified citizens to do national service in the Army and the Public Security Forces.

According to reports, the number of recruits with university degrees or college diplomas reached 46.4%, an increase of 9.1% compared to 2024.

Among those joining the Public Security Forces, over 70% of the rookies has university degrees or college diplomas. 80 youths voluntarily applied for enlistment, a 51% increase compared to 2024.

Notably, 8 outstanding citizens were admitted to the Party before departing for national service.

At the ceremony, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung, Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee Tran Sy Thanh, and other leaders presented flowers, encouraged and extended best wishes to the new enlistees.

The leaders wished that the recruits would strive for excellence in all aspects, strictly conform to military discipline and successfully fulfill the honorable mission entrusted to them by the Party, the government and the people.
