Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son works with Ba To Police and presents gift to policy beneficiaries

PSNews – A delegation led by Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Minister of Public Security on July 24 and 25 worked with the Ba To District Police Station (Quang Ngai) and visited and presented gifts to local policy beneficiaries on the occasion of the 72th Wounded Soldiers and Martyrs’ Day (July 27).

At the meeting with the Ba To District Police, the Deputy Minister was briefed on the tasks performance of the Ba To Police Station in particular and the Quang Ngai Provincial Police Department in general in the first 7 months of 2019.

Over the first 7 months of 2019, the Quang Ngai Police and the Ba To District Police have taken synchronous and resolute measures; as a result, the local police have well maintained the local security situation.

The local police forces have launched many intensive campaigns against crimes, especially stamped out dangerous criminal gangs using weapons, and crimes involving “black credit.”

Speaking at the meeting, the Deputy Minister asked the Quang Ngai Provincial Police Department in general and the Ba To Police Station in particular to continue promoting their results, while actively advising local leaders to implement effectively the public order and security tasks.

Within the framework of the working trip, Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Son also visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Dinh Thi May, the family of late Hero of the People’s Armed Forces Dinh Thin; and injured public security officer Mr. Nguyen Tan Dang.

On this occasion, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son also presented 5 tons of rice, 500 packs of gifts (each pack worth of 500,000 VND) to policy beneficiary families in Ba To District. Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Son and the delegation also lit incense at the Ba To Uprising Monument and visited the Pham Van Dong Memorial Site.
