Minister To Lam visits and presents gifts to families of wounded and fallen public security officers

PSNews – On the occasion of the 73rd anniversary of the War Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1947-2020), a delegation of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS) led by General To Lam, Politburo’s member and Minister of Public Security, visited and presented gifts to wounded public security officers and relatives of fallen public security officers in Hanoi.

Minister To Lam and the delegation visited the families of martyr Dau Van Ngon, martyr Nguyen Tai Hai, martyr To An, martyr Nguyen Danh Phuong, wounded public security officer Vu Thai Son who has lost 31% of health, and wounded public security officer Le Thanh Hung who has lost 25% of health.

On behalf of the Central Party Committee of Public Security and leaders of the MPS, Minister To Lam thanked public security wounded soldiers and martyr’s relatives for their contributions to the nation and Public Security Forces, and presented gifts to them.

He especially praised the sacrifices of the martyrs for the cause of protecting national security, the Party and the State, saying that the MPS and authorities at all levels will always take care of them and implement support policies for them.

Over the past years, the Central Party Committee of Public Security and leaders of public security agencies and units at all levels have conducted various gratitude activities and taken care of wounded public security officers, fallen public security officers’ relatives, and revolution contributors.

General To Lam hopes that the wounded public security soldiers and fallen public security officers’ relatives will overcome their difficulties in life, and promote the fine traditions of their families in the future.
