The delegation from the Party Committee, leadership, officers, and soldiers of the Department was led by its Deputy Directors: Senior Colonel Tran Cao Kieu (Director and Editor-in-Chief of the People’s Public Security Publishing House), Senior Colonel Nguyen Thanh Binh (Editor-in-Chief of the People’s Public Security Newspaper), and Senior Colonel Nguyen Thi Thu Hang.
In a deeply solemn and moving atmosphere, the delegation respectfully bowed their heads, offered incense, and observed a minute of silence, paying tribute to revolutionary predecessors, fallen heroes and outstanding sons and daughters of the nation, who had devoted their lives to the cause of national liberation, construction, and defense.
Every inch of our beloved country today is imbued with the blood and sacrifice of millions of Vietnamese patriots. Throughout those long and arduous resistance wars, millions of fine young citizens from all regions stood shoulder to shoulder in the trenches, bound by the ultimate truth: "Nothing is more precious than independence and freedom."
Though the wars brought immense loss and sorrow, it was these noble sacrifices that brought glory to the nation, nurturing the tender shoots of peace and hope. The spirit of the fallen heroes will live forever in the heart of the homeland and in the enduring affection of their compatriots and comrades, standing as an eternal truth that no hostile force can ever break.
Standing before the sacred souls of revolutionary predecessors and heroic martyrs at Mai Dich Cemetery, generations of officers and soldiers from the Department gained an even deeper appreciation for the true value of independence, freedom and peace.
As a force operating on the cultural, ideological, journalistic, media, publishing, and cinematic front of the People’s Public Security Forces, the Department is so proud of its entrusted mission: Preserving, amplify, and promote the glorious traditions and heroic achievements of past generations
Before the sacred souls of the nation's forefathers and fallen heroes, the officers, soldiers and civilian officials of the Public Security Department of Communications and Information pledged to live, fight, work and study following the moral example of the great President Ho Chi Minh. They reaffirmed their commitment to carrying forward the glorious traditions of their predecessors by further stepping up efforts to care for policy-beneficiary families, national contributors, war invalids, sick soldiers, martyrs' families and Vietnamese Heroic Mothers.
