Secretariat’s Permanent member visits MPS’s on-site command center

Politburo member and Permanent member of the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat Tran Cam Tu, who is also head of the Subcommittee in charge of the organization of the 14th National Party Congress on Jan 13 inspected the Ministry of Public Security’s On-site Command Center located at the National Convention Center.

Politburo member and Permanent member of the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat Tran Cam Tu, who is also head of the Subcommittee in charge of the organization of the 14th National Party Congress, presided over the preliminary rehearsal of all organization work for the congress on January 13 at the National Convention Center.

During the event, he inspected the Ministry of Public Security’s On-site Command Center located at the National Convention Center.

Present at the event was Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha.

Representing the Ministry of Public Security at the event was Senior Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung, Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security.

At the Command Center,  Commander of Security Guard Command Major General Pham Thanh Hung briefed the delegates on the implementation plan and preparations to ensure security and safety for the 14th National Party Congress.

The Commander of Security Guard Command affirmed that the force and assigned units have consistently identified ensuring security and safety for the 14th National Party Congress as a particularly important political task of the Ministry of Public Security as a whole, and of the security guard force in particular.

In carrying out their assigned tasks, the Security Guard Command has synchronously implemented all aspects of work in accordance with the direction of the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security and the Security and Order Subcommittee for the 14th National Party Congress.

At the same time, close coordination with relevant agencies and units has been carried out, enabling unified plans for the deployment of forces and equipment to ensure absolute security and safety in serving the 14th National Party Congress.

At the event, Permanent member of the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat Tran Cam Tu encouraged the forces on duty at the Ministry of Public Security’s Command Center. He also stressed that security and safety assurance plays a particularly important role, contributing to the overall success of the 14th National Party Congress.
