During the visit, Minister Luong Tam Quang had talks with General Secretary of the Communist Party of Spain Enrique Fernando Santiago Romero.

At the talks, General Secretary Enrique Fernando Santiago Romero highly appreciated the visit of Minister Luong Tam Quang and the high-ranking delegation of the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam to Spain.

The Spanish General Secretary highlighted the outstanding achievements of the Communist Party of Spain since its establishment nearly 100 years ago, as well as expressed his delight at socio-economic development of Vietnam and positive results in the work of Party building of the Communist Party of Vietnam over the past time.

Conveying regards from General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam To Lam to leaders and all members of the Spanish Communist Party, Minister Luong Tam Quang underlined that the Communist Party of Vietnam always values the traditional unity and relationship with the Spanish Communist Party, appreciates the good feelings and supports of the Spanish Communist Party for Vietnam in its national development.

The guest revealed that, under the leadership of General Secretary To Lam, the Communist Party, the State, the Government and the whole political system of Vietnam have recently been further renovating leadership methods, focusing on building a rule-of-law State with a complete legal system.

The Vietnamese political system also focused on carrying out the digital transformation revolution and building socio-economic infrastructure, while accelerating a deep and comprehensive international integration process, aiming to bring Vietnam into a new era - the era of the country's rise.

Within the framework of his visit to Spain, Minister Luong Tam Quang and the Vietnamese delegation also had talks with Spanish law enforcement agencies to exchange information and share hands-on experience in crime prevention and control, as well as discussed approaches to strengthen cooperation in the coming time.

Minister Luong Tam Quang also visited a factory manufacturing specialized equipment and vehicles for the Spanish police and security forces.

Visiting the Embassy of Vietnam in Spain, Minister Luong Tam Quang briefed delegates on the domestic situation and the work of crime prevention and control of the Public Security Forces.

The Minister wished all the diplomats and staff of the Embassy continue to further promote their achievements and well perform their role to strengthen and develop the Vietnam – Spain relations.
