Vinamilk yoghurt stands firm in Thailand market

PSNews - The Vietnamese dairy group Vinamilk continues exporting its products to different Southeast Asian countries, aiming to become one of the top 50 leading dairy companies in the world. Currently, Vinamilk yoghurt is favourite in Thailand.

Recently, Vinamilk has selected Thai Top Most Enterprise as its strategic partner to distribute Vinamilk products in Thailand, the market worth THB 60 billion. People can find such yoghurt brand at the Lawson convenience store chain, shopping centers and Foodland supermartkets.

Due to its high quality, Vinamilk yoghurt costs about THB 17-19 per cup equivalent to VND 10,000 - 12,000, higher than the same products of others brands. Top Most Enterprise company has planned to expand Vinamilk products to all Thai distribution network in Q2-2017.

As estimated, Thailand's yoghurt market in 2016 is worth THB 4.9 billion. In the coming time, Top Most Enterprise will also introduce Vinamilk's unpasteurized milk products to the market.

After nearly 40 years of development with 18 year's export experience, Vinamilk has not only met an increasing domestic demand but also taken significant steps to globalize its brand.

According to the V1000 ranking list - Vietnam's top 1000 businesses with largest revenue taxes in 2016, Vinamilk was placed fifth. This was also the first time, a private company was seen on the top of the list.

In 2015, thanks to great progresses in its production and business, Vinamilk's revenue reached over VND 40,222 billion, up by 15% compared to 2014 and contributed to the State budget nearly VND 4,000 billion.
