In a report on results of medical examination and treatment at first-class public security hospitals in the first eight months of 2022, Director of the Department of Health Major General Pham Thi Lan Anh said, over the past time, despite many difficulties, all first-class public security hospitals succeeded in seeking methods to improve the quality of their medical examination and treatment, meeting the need and satisfaction of patients who are public security officers and people.
The hospitals continued to invest and apply many new and advanced techniques in diagnosis and treatment on a par with other hospitals of the same class in the country.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Public Security had also invested in infrastructure, medical equipment of class-1 public security hospitals, as well as opened training courses to improve their professional qualifications for medical workers.
At the conference, delegates discussed and assessed the results of medical examination and treatment at class-1 public security hospitals over the past time, effectiveness and efficiency of investments in facilities and equipment in hospitals, as well as pointed out their shortcomings as well as difficulties and obstacles to their examination and treatment.

On behalf of the Public Security Central Party Committee and the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security, Deputy Minister Le Van Tuyen praised the effort of all doctors, specialists, nurses and other medical workers at class-1 public security hospitals in recent years.
For further development of the class-1 public security hospitals in the coming time, to best serve the requirements for medical services of the Public Security Forces in the coming time, Deputy Minister Le Van Tuyen suggested, the hospitals should draw up a roadmap to implemented Resolution 12-NQ/TW issued March 16, 2022, by the Politburo on "Strengthening the building of truly clean, strong, regular, elite and modern People's Public Security Forces" to meet the task requirements in the new situation", as well as to realize the master plan on public security hospital development toward 2030 with strategic orientation toward 2050.
In addition, the Party committees and directorates of hospitals should focus on Party building and force building, tighten discipline, maintain internal solidarity, gradually improve the lives of their staff, create a favorable working environment for medical staff to get trained and improve their skills, and develop mechanisms to encourage health workers to work at their hospital.
