Deputy Minister of Public Security Lieutenant General Le Quoc Hung attended a conference held by the Department for Building the “All People Protect Homeland Security” Movement to summarize the sector’s work in 2023 and roll out its work plan for 2024, on the afternoon of January 4, 2024, in Hanoi.
In 2023, the Department for Building the “All People Protect Homeland Security” Movement actively advised the Public Security Central Party Committee and leaders of the Ministry of Public Security to concentrate on the policy and strategy on building and promoting the “All people protect national security” movement.
Speaking at the conference, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung requested the department to focus on guiding and urging local police to advise Party committees and local authorities to build the “All people protect national security” movement, regularly replicate typical models in the movement.
The department was asked to advise the Minister to promulgate a set of criteria for building communes, wards and towns of building the “All people protect national security” movement while attaching importance to mass mobilization work in strategic areas and large communities and drafting institutions for the building of the movement in 2024 and the following years...
