Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam inspects task performance of Dak Nong provincial police

PSNews - Senior Lieutenant General Bui Van Nam, Deputy Minister of Public Security (MPS), leading a MPS delegation, worked with the Dak Nong Provincial Police Department on March 31.

At the meeting, Senior Colonel Ho Van Muoi, Director of the Dak Nong Provincial Police Department briefed the deputy minister and delegates on the provincial police’s task performance in 2020.

Accordingly, under the leadership of the Central Party Committee of Public Security, MPS and the instructions of the Party Committee and People's Committee of Dak Nong province, the provincial police forces have successfully completed the set tasks over the past time, maintained security and order in the province as well as participated actively in local COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control.

Notably, the Dak Nong Provincial Police Department actively solved a serious murdering case in which the suspect killed victims, burnt their corpse, and created a fake scene, investigated the case of illegally appropriating 100 million dongs from a donation fun for the families of the victims of the collapse incident at the Rao Trang 3 Hydropower Plant, Thua Thien Hue province.

The  Dak Nong Provincial Police also stamped out large drug trafficking rings in the locality.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam highly appreciated the achievements of the Dak Nong Provincial Police Department in performing their tasks.

Regarding their key missions in the coming time, Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam emphasized that the provincial police should enhance the quality of their professional activities and take synchronous professional measures to prevent and control crime in the province. 

Specially, they should mobilize forces and means to protect the election of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and People's Councils of all levels for the term 2021-2026.

He also asked the local police to effectively implement the e-ID card issuance project in line with the direction of the MPS.
