Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam inspects the work of maintaining security and order in provinces ahead of Lunar New Year

Deputy Minister, Senior Lieutenant General Bui Van Nam leading a delegation of the Ministry of Public Security, visited the police forces of Ha Nam, Ninh Binh and Nam Dinh provinces on the occasion of the Lunar New Year festival (Tet) 2021.

At the meeting with the Ha Nam provincial police, Senior Colonel Nguyen Quoc Hung, Director of the Provincial Police Department briefed the Deputy Minister and the delegation on the results of their task performances in 2020.

Deputy Minister Nam then praised the achievements of the Ha Nam police over the past time. He requested them to effectively carry out intensive campaigns against crimes in order to ensure security and safety in the province and a peaceful and happy Tet for local people.

On the same day, the Senior Lieutenant General and his entourage visited the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Committee and Provincial Police Department of Ninh Binh province.

Senior Colonel Pham Van Son, Director of the Ninh Binh Provincial Police Department, informed the Deputy Minister that the political security, social order and safety situation in the province has been well maintained over the past time.

Speaking at the meeting with the Ninh Binh police, Deputy Minister Nam asked the provincial police force to focus on the task of ensuring security in the province while paying special attention to absolutely protecting security and safety in the locality during the Lunar New Year festival 2021. 

He also urged the provincial police to seriously implement the directions of the Ministry of Public Security and local authorities on preventive measures against the COVID-19 pandemic in the locality.

In Nam Dinh, Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam and the delegation visited and extended New Year greetings to police officers and soldiers of Nam Dinh province as well as visited the Party Committee, People's Committee, and Police Station of Vu Ban district. The delegates also inspected the work of ensuring security in the province of the Nam Dinh police.
