The event was held at the Ko Tam Community Ecotourism Site in Buon Ma Thuot city, one of the bright spots of the “All people protecting national security” movement in Dak Lak province over the past years.

Over the past time, the “All people protecting national security” movement in Dak Lak province has been comprehensively developed from provincial to grassroots levels, with numerous self-managed security and order protection models as well as crime prevention and control clubs, which have been highly appreciated by the Ministry of Public Security.

Speaking at the festival, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung underlined that Dak Lak is located in the center of the Central Highlands region, which has a particularly important geopolitical position.

Over the past time, although local people's material and spiritual life has gradually improved, the population still faces many difficulties.

Therefore, the work of ensuring security and order and creating a peaceful, secure and safe environment for socio-economic development in the province is a crucial task for the entire Dak Lak political system.

Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung requested that the Dak Lak province should further promote the “All people protecting national security” movement, pay due attention to comprehensively consolidating the grassroots political system, particularly in key strategic areas and areas of ethnic minorities, and renovate methods and forms of the building of the “All people protecting national security” movement.

In addition, the Deputy Minister wished that local people of all ethnics would further promote traditional cultural identities and join hands with local authorities to build the “All people protecting national security” movement, contributing to creating a secure and safe environment for developing local socio-economy.

At the event, delegates also presented many gifts to poor families of ethnic minorities in Buon Ma Thuot City.
