Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung works with Quang Ninh police

PSNews - Recently, a delegation of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS), headed by Deputy Minister, Major General Le Quoc Hung, had a meeting with the Quang Ninh provincial police on the work of protecting the 13th National Party Congress, fire prevention and fighting, search and rescue of the local mobile police force.

Senior Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Lam, Director of the Quang Ninh Provincial Police Department, affirmed at the meeting that the Directorate of the Quang Ninh Provincial Police Department has strictly followed the directions of the MPS leadership and paid due attention to ensuring security and absolute safety in the province in the buildup to the 13th National Party Congress as well as to fire-prevention, search and rescue.

Regarding the fight against crimes and violations of security and order regulations, the provincial police have launched various intensive campaigns to suppress crimes of all kinds. The police also closely monitored local offenders and subjects suspected of being involved in drug-related and economic crimes as well as prevented the formation of criminal groups or hotspots of social evils.

The provincial police force also attached importance to strictly managing and ensuring absolute safety for detainees, while effectively enforcing criminal judgments and strengthening security at the provincial police detention center and district police detention houses. Thanks to the local police efforts, there was no case of prison escape or prison-related crime.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung spoke highly of the achievements made by the Quang Ninh provincial police over the past time.

The Deputy Minister noted that, in the coming time, the leadership of the Quang Ninh provincial police should continue the project to streamline the apparatus of the local police units in line with the directions of the MPS while paying more attention to building the grassroots-level police force and police units directly fighting crimes.
