Deputy Minister Le Quy Vuong meets voters in Hung Yen

PSNews - Deputy Minister of Public Security Le Quy Vuong and Hung Yen provincial National Assembly (NA) delegation on May 3 met with voters of Kim Dong and Yen My districts, Hung Yen province.

The meeting saw the presence of Mr. Nguyen Van Phong, Vice Secretary of the Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; Mr. Dang Minh Ngoc, Member of the Provincial Party Committee’s Standing Board and Permanent Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council.

Participants at the meeting were briefed on the projected agenda for the 14th NA’s 5th session as well as several activities of the Provincial NA Delegation.

Voters voiced various issues of local concern, including proposal to soon complete the construction of the roads along the Dien Bien river, part of the emergency drainage improvement project, and bridges across the Dien Bien river in Phu Coc and Coc Khe villages, Pham Ngu Lao commune (Kim Dong district).

The local voters also proposed the authorities to reconsider the traffic fees charged on vehicles on National Highway 5 and enhance supervision of the maintenance of National Highway 5; step up the construction of the Trade Union University in Dong Than and Giai Pham communes (Yen My district); early deal with pollution along the Bac Hung Hai river section; pay attention to environmental issues in residential areas; and promote food hygiene and safety.

Deputy Minister Le Quy Vuong appreciated and acknowledged all ideas and opinions from the voters. He also answered some questions raised by the voters, including issues related to the Law on People’s Public Security Forces, the Commune Police Law, fight against corruption at all levels and without exception.
