Deputy Minister Le Quy Vuong meets voters in two districts of Hung Yen province

Senior Lieutenant General Le Quy Vuong, Member of the Party Central Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security, along with other members of the Hung Yen Provincial NA Deputy Delegation on June 23 met with voters from Kim Dong and An Thi districts, Hung Yen province.

The meeting saw the presence of Mr. Nguyen Duy Hung, Standing Vice Secretary of the Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee, Mr. Tran Quoc Toan, Deputy Chairman of the Hung Yen Provincial People’s Council, and Ms. Pham Thi Tuyen, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front’s Committee of Hung Yen province.

At the meetings in Kim Dong and An Thi districts, voters were briefed on the results of the 14th NA’s 9th session, during which the NA deputies have adopted ten laws, 21 resolutions and given comments on six draft laws. The local voters gave opinions and proposals on preferential policies for people with meritorious services, social security, environmental protection, suspended projects, land clearance compensation, traffic order and safety, land and road traffic planning, and support for local agricultural production.

Deputy Minister Le Quy Vuong and other NA deputies appreciated all ideas and opinions from the voters. They also answered some questions raised by local voters. The Deputy Minister asked the local authorities to solve the problems in accordance with their responsibility and authority.

Deputy Minister Vuong affirmed that the Ministry of Public Security will continue advising the Politburo, the Party Secretariat, the NA and the Government to better ensure security and social order, and fight against crimes, especially organized crime, “black credit” crime, drug-related crime, human trafficking and child abuse.

He also hoped to receive more support and assistance from the local authorities at all levels and the local people in the coming time.
