Deputy Minister Le Quy Vuong receives delegation of Chinese People’s Armed Police Force

PSNews – Senior Lieutenant General Le Quy Vuong, Deputy Minister of Public Security on October 22 received a delegation of the Chinese People’s Armed Police Force, led by its deputy political commissar, Lieutenant General Yan Xiaodong.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Le Quy Vuong emphasized that leaders of the Party, State and people of Vietnam are delighted at the great achievements the Party, State and people of China have obtained over the past 40 years of its reform and development (1978–2018); congratulated and highly valued the success of the recent meeting of the 13th National People’s Congress and the 13th National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference.

The Vietnamese Deputy Minister of Public Security also commended the Chinese side on the great achievements gained in recent time under the leadership of the Chinese Communist Party, saying  the China People's Armed Police made a considerable part to the country’s achievements as the forces have always fulfilled their tasks in maintaining political stability, national security, and social order and safety in China.

According to Deputy Minister Le Quy Vuong, the Vietnam-China comprehensive strategic partnership has been maintained and developed positively.

Recalling the visit to China of Senior Lieutenant General To Lam, Vietnamese Minister of Public Security from Oct. 10 to 14 and the meeting between the head of the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security and Commander of the Chinese People’s Armed Police Wang Ning, Deputy Minister Vuong said the good cooperation, political trust and mutual understanding between the two sides have been strengthened.

In order to further promote cooperation between the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security and the Chinese People's Armed Police Force, Deputy Minister Le Quy Vuong suggested the two sides maintain exchange of visits by high-ranking leaders, sharing experiences and information about counter-terrorism, search and rescue, and assuring the security of national key projects.

Deputy Minister Vuong also continue asked the two sides to support each other in training personnel and improving  capacity for police officers in managing and using special vehicles for ensuring security.

Lieutenant General Yan Xiaodong, Deputy Political Commissar of the Chinese People’s Armed Police thanked Deputy Minister Le Quy Vuong for the warm reception, affirming he will continue contributing to promote the traditional friendship between the two countries in general and between the Vietnam Ministry of Public Security and the Chinese People's Armed Police Force in particular.
