Speaking at the meeting, the Deputy Minister requested An Giang to focus on building a local strong and clean police force with internal unity and promoting close relations with the people.
The An Giang Provincial Police Department should also continue consolidating the grassroots police force following the guidelines and directions of the Ministry of Public Security by sending more police officers at the grassroots level to training courses.
Meanwhile, it should further strengthen its telecommunications infrastructure, cipher system, information technology, security guarding, and promote foreign affairs to effectively serve the implementation of its political tasks.
