Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To works with Department of Professional Records Management

PSNews – Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To, Member of the Central Party Central, Deputy Minister of Public Security had a meeting on January 20 with the Department of Professional Records Management under the Ministry of Public Security on its key tasks for 2021.

At the event, leaders of the Department of Professional Records Management briefed the Deputy Minister on the department’s major tasks for 2021, saying that the unit has drawn up and rolled out its working plan for 2021.

Accordingly, the leadership of the department has assigned specific tasks with the deadline for each task to all under-department offices and its branches at other departments and units under the Ministry of Public Security to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of the management of professional records in the Public Security Forces.

After listening to the reports and discussions, Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To pointed out the department’s shortcomings, and suggested measures to overcome the problems in the future.

At the meeting, delegates pointed out shortcomings of the department over the past year, suggested solutions to the shortcomings and discussed difficulties and challenges faced by the department in the time to come.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To asked the Department of Professional Records Management to study and follow the policies of the Government, resolutions of the Public Security Central Party Committee and instructions of the Minister of Public Security at the 76

th National Public Security Conference on the management of professional records and documents.

He also stressed that the tasks of the department should be in accordance with the working program of the Ministry of Public Security. According to him, specific responsibilities should be assigned to leaders of subunits.

The Deputy Minister underlined, the unit should also pay attention to personnel training so as to build a corps of public security officers competent in management of professional records and documents
