Deputy Minister works with Ha Tinh Provincial Police

PSNews - Senior Lieutenant General Bui Van Nam, Deputy Minister of Public Security paid a working visit to the Ha Tinh Provincial Police on November 17th afternoon. 

The delegation of the Public Security Ministry also included Major General Nguyen Quang Chu, Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics and leaders of other relevant departments. Chief of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee Le Dinh Son and Vice Chairman of the Ha Tinh Provincial People's Committee Dang Quoc Vinh were the two local representatives attending the meeting.

At the meeting, Senior Colonel Le Van Sao, Director of the Ha Tinh Provincial Police briefed the delegation on the results of the provincial police force over the past 11 months of 2016. The Ha Tinh Provincial Police has actively adviced the provincial Party organizations and authorities, and implemented many plans, coping with complex issues in ensuring security and social order, border security, maritime territory, political and cultural security in the province. 

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Bui Van Nam lauded the efforts and outcomes of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Organisation, people of Ha Tinh as well as the Ha Tinh Provincial Police although the province was badly affected by Formosa environmental incidents and floods in 2016.

He asked the Ha Tinh Provincial Police to thoroughly implement guidelines of Provincial Party Secretary Le Dinh Son, and focus on fulfilling key tasks including: actively studying and grasping local situations in depth and from distance; and improving  their professional competency and Party work.

The Ha Tinh Provincial Police should provide advice to leaders of the province and the Public Security Ministry on solutions to emerging issues in the locality as well as well carry out mass mobilization and effectively build on the concept of the "All People Protecting Security".

The Ha Tinh Provincial Police was also asked to well perform its functions of State management of security, social order and foreigners in the province, creating a favorable business environment for individuals and organizations to do business and live on. Moreover, the force should further strengthen its collaborations with other armed forces at all level.

He also instructed that the Ha Tinh Provincial Police should evaluate the results of its task performance in 2016, draw lessons and summarize experiences with the aim of ensuring local security and social order  in 2017.
