Dong Nai police Party organization asked to fulfill their tasks in 2020-2025 term

PSNews - The Dong Nai provincial police Party organization held its 12th Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term on August 5.

The draft political report at the Congress read that, in the last term, the Dong Nai police Party organization proactively advised the provincial Party Committee and authorities to issue guidelines and instructions to effectively maintain local security and social order. It also led the provincial police forces to firmly protect national security, ensure social stability and prevent the formation of reactionary organizations.

Under the leadership of the Party organization, the Dong Nai provincial police took drastic measures against crimes of all kinds. As a result, the number of crimes in the province was reduced by an average of 3.66% annually. 78.77% of the criminal cases were successfully investigated, 95.19% of the serious cases were solved, and 91.38% of the crime reports and denunciations were settled. The movement “All people protect the national security” was constantly promoted, contributing to safeguarding the people’s lives and local security.

Particularly, the Dong Nai police Party organization directed the provincial police to develop and implement a project on posting professional police officers to all 122 communes in the province. So far, the professional communal police have effectively maintained security at the grassroots level.

Speaking at the event, Minister To Lam asked the Party organization to direct the Dong Nai provincial police to effectively follow guidelines and instructions of the Party, the State, the Public Security Central Party Committee and the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee on Party building and security protection.

Regarding the fight against crimes, the Minister requested the Dong Nai police Party organization to lead the local police to better perform their professional tasks in order to curb the number of crimes and create a secure and stable environment for the province’s socio-economic development.

General To Lam emphasized that, the Dong Nai provincial police Party organization should strengthen its leadership of its subordinate Party organizations and Party members. Party and force building should be enhanced in the 2020-25 term in order to build a clean and strong provincial police force that will devotedly serve the people.

At the Congress, delegates elected the Party executive Committee for the new term and a delegation to attend the upcoming 11th Dong Nai Provincial Party Congress.
