Former leaders of communal police posts in Yen Bai province honored

PSNews - With their outstanding achievements, numerous teams and individuals of the Yen Bai non-commissioned communal police force has been presented with many awards and honors by authorities at all levels.

Major General Le Quoc Hung, Deputy Minister of Public Security, on May 30 attended and delivered a speech at a meeting held by the Yen Bai ProvincialPeople's Committee to praise the contributions of former non-commissioned police officers holding the positions of chiefs and deputy chiefs of communal police posts in the province.

Reports at the meeting read that, over 70 years of its development, the non-commissioned communal police force of Yen Bai has strictly follow the leadership of the Party Central Committee, the Yen Bai Provincial Party Committee and People's Committee, and local authorities, upheld their sense of working responsibility and overcome many difficulties and challenges to successfully fulfill all their assigned tasks.

With their outstanding achievements, numerous teams and individuals of the Yen Bai non-commissioned communal police force has been presented with many awards and honors by authorities at all levels.

Speaking at the meeting, General Hung recognized and praised the contributions of the Yen Bai non-commissioned communal police force over the past years.

Deputy Minister Le Quoc Hung asked the Yen Bai Provincial Police Department to direct the newly-posted professional communal police officers to firmly ensure security and social order at the grassroots level. He also wanted the former communal police leaders to support the professional communal police to perform their assigned tasks, effectively contributing to the local economic, cultural, and social developments.

At the meeting, 32 former chiefs and deputy police chiefs of communal police posts were awarded the Certificates of Merit from the Yen Bai Provincial People's Committee for their outstanding achievements in ensuring security and social order, and promoting the movement “All people protect the national security” in the locality.
