Guard Police High Command reviews task performance in 2018

PSNews - The Guard Police High Command on January 17 held a conference to reviews its task performance in 2018 and roll out its working plans in 2019. Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Thanh, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security attended the event.

In 2018, under the direction of the Central Party Committee of Public Security and leaders of the Ministry of Public Security (MPS), with great efforts of the guard police officers and soldiers, the Guard Police High Command successfully fulfilled the adopted working plans in 2018, thereby contributing to maintaining political security and social order and safety in the country.

The unit also coordinated with the Management Board of President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum to promote protection, organize and ensure security and safety for all visits to the mausoleum of people from localities of the country as well as for respect-paying ceremonies with the participation of high-ranking Party, State officials and foreign leaders  at the mausoleum in accordance with regulations, which left good impressions on over 2 million domestic and foreign visitors. For the achievements, the Guard Police High Command was honored to receive the Emulation Flag for Excellent Unit of the MPS.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh spoke highly of the efforts and the achievements of all police officers and soldiers of the Guard Police High Command over the past time.

In the coming time, the Deputy Minister asked the Guard Police High Command to closely follow the action plans of the MPS, continue to complete the reorganization of the force; well carry out Party work and force building work while enhancing the responsibility of the leaders.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Thanh also urged the force to apply the technology achievements of the 4.0 Industrial Revolution into their actual operations in order to improve the quality and efficiency of the work of the Guard Police Force. Besides, the unit should strengthen international cooperation with the guard police force of other countries in order to improve its working efficiency.
