Hai Phong Police present “Comradeship” house to former criminal policewoman

PSNews - On January 3rd, the Hai Phong City Police, the Municipal Division of Criminal Police (PC 45) and other sponsors held a meeting to present a “Comradeship” house to Colonel Tran Thi Lam Hong, retired official of PC 45, living at No. 6/190 Cat Bi Street, Cat Bi ward, Hai An district, HaiPhong City.

Comrade Tran Thi Lam Hong started to study at a military school from the age of 12. She then worked at PC 45 Division. She once joined a heroic group calls H88 and used to be a nightmare of criminals in Haiphong.

The criminal circle spread a rumor of a brave female scout who was excellent at professional skills and martial arts. She had to sneak into criminal dens, successfully stamping out criminal gangs and arresting many criminals. Lam Hong was known as a policewoman for her talent at work and kindness in life.

Retired in 2003, Lam Hong is in a difficult state. She had to support her ill husband and disabled son in a public flat built in the 70s.

Knowing her situation, leaders of PC 45 Division reported to the Director of the City Police. The Hai Phong City Police’s Director decided to launch a donation movement to build a house for Lam Hong at cost of 500 million VND.

Receiving the meaningful gift, comrade Tran Thi Lam Hong extended her warmest thanks to leaders of the city police, officers of PC 45 Division and sponsors for the great support on the occasion of the New Year. She said: “Although I’m already retired, but I’m still willing to contribute the rest of my life to maintaining security and order in my place.”
