Hanoi police equip students with traffic laws and safety regulations

PSNews – The Hanoi traffic police have held meetings with students at school to equip them with useful information about road traffic laws, traffic safety regulations and skills.

Traffic Police Squad No.14 under the Hanoi Traffic Police on September 23 held a training program on traffic laws and traffic safety regulations and safety for 450 students at Phuong Nam High School in Hoang Mai district, Hanoi city.

Speaking in a straightforward and interesting manner, Lieutenant Colonel Do Trong Tuan Deputy Head of Traffic Police Squad No.14 helped the students understand basic information about Hanoi’s traffic situation as well as traffic rules.

The Hanoi traffic police officer also joined the students in analyzing and dealing with current traffic problems in Hanoi such as congestions at rush hours, increased number of traffic accidents, riding bikes without wearing helmets, and violation of the traffic light regulations in Hanoi.

In particular, the student also listened to the specific analysis on the risks and countless consequences of riding motorbikes and electric motorcycles without safety helmets or driving licenses.

Speaking to the PSNews, Lieutenant Colonel Do Trong Tuan Deputy Head of Traffic Police Squad No.14 emphasized the need for students to well understand possible traffic issues and seriously comply with the traffic laws.

"We hope that the students themselves will become active speakers, helping other members of their family to be aware of observing the traffic laws, which is the most important factor ensuring safety for all people", Lieutenant Colonel Do Trong Tuan said.
