During his treatment, he had received active support of the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam and the Khanh Hoa Provincial Police Department.
Earlier, according to the diagnosis of the August 19 Hospital under the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam, Deputy Minister of Public Security of Laos Thoong Lek Mang Noc had degenerative, herniated discs in the cervical and lumbar vertebrae, and was unable to walk.
On March 7, Deputy Minister Thong Lem Mang Noc went to Khanh Hoa for treatment.
In order to ensure the safety of the Deputy Minister of Public Security of Laos during the treatment period, the Directorate of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Police Department sent a working group to be on duty around the clock at the health facility where the Lao Deputy Minister of Public Security was treated.
An experienced skillful nurse from the Khanh Hoa Provincial Police Hospital and an ambulance was assigned to assist the Lao official. Meanwhile, a logistics team was in charge of providing food and other necessities to him on request.
Every day, the working group from the Khanh Hoa Provincial Police Hospital took the Lao Deputy Minister of Public Security to the beach to bath with sand and seawater, do light exercise combined with physical therapy, massage and herbal medicine.
On returning home, Deputy Minister of Public Security of Laos Thoong Lem Mang Noc expressed thanks to the Ministry of Public Security, local police force and police doctors for their assistance and treatment, and hailed the traditional friendship between the Public Security Forces of the two countries.
According to him, the Public Security Forces of Vietnam and Laos always have good sentiment for each other and strong, durable solidarity.
