Minister To Lam inaugurates police headquarters in border commune of Nghe An province

PSNews - On the occasion of the 105th birthdayof Comrade Tran Quoc Hoan, General To Lam, Member of the Politburo and Minister Public Security, attended a ceremony to inauguratea police office project funded by Bac A Commercial Bank and TH Groupinthe border commune of Thanh Thuy (Thanh Chuong district, Nghe An province).

Following the guidelines of the Party, State and the Ministry of Public Security, the Nghe Anprovincial police have posted at least fiveprofessional police officers to each commune in the province. So far, 2,165 commissioned policemen were posted to 428 communes and townships across Nghe An.

Additionally, the Nghe An Provincial Police Department actively advised the local civilian leadership and coordinated with relevant units to build offices andprovide equipment for the communal police force.

Speaking at the event, Minister To Lam thanked the leaders of Nghe An province for theircare and support for the local police force to successfully complete their tasks. He also thanked TH True Milk Joint Stock Company and Bac A Commercial Joint Stock Bank for their close coordination and practical assistance to the Ministry of Public Security and the Nghe Anprovincial police over the past time.

On this occasion, Minister To Lam awarded the National Security Protection Medal to Ms. Thai Huong, holder of the Labor Hero title, Chairman of TH Group’s Strategy Council.

* On the same day, Minister To Lam and the delegation visited and extended New Year greetings to border guard soldiers at the Thanh Thuy border gate.
