The Ministry of Public Security in coordination with the Vietnam Learning Promotion Association launched an event named "Lifelong Learning Week” on October 30 in Hanoi, mobilizing the entire Public Security Forces to keep studying during their careers.
During the event, Deputy Minister of Public Security Tran Quoc To and President of the Vietnam Learning Promotion Association Nguyen Thi Doan also signed a deal, under which the two sides coordinate with each other in promoting and expanding the life-long learning movement, learning promotion funds, talent support funds, reading movements and a reading society in the Public Security Forces.
Ms Nguyen Thi Doan said, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Learning Promotion Association will give briefings on the coordination deal to its provincial-level branches of the 63 cities and provinces so that they can draw up plans to team up with local police units in promoting the life-long learning movement in the local police forces.
With the coordination, the two sides aim at developing knowledgeable citizens in a learning socciety, including public security officers.
On behalf of the Public Security Central Party Committee and leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, Deputy Minister Tran Quoc To launched the "Lifelong Learning Week” in the People's Public Security Forces in 2023.
