Vietnam has experienced 3 waves of COVID-19 and had various lessons. In fact, the efforts of Vietnam to prevent the pandemic were appreciated by various foreign countries, said Minister of Health Nguyen Thanh Long.

The National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention And Control and the MoH also appreciated the efforts and contributions of the police forces to the fight against COVID-19 in Vietnam.

The work of tracing COVID-19 patients and suspects is to find out the source of infection of the case, identify people with risks of COVID-19 infection, and on that basis, take measures to completely isolate and prevent the spread of the pandemic.

Additionally, they should promote the management of residence of people. The police force in the provinces which share border with Laos and Cambodia should strictly follow the directions of the ministry, enhance cooperation with functional forces in preventing illegal border crossings.
